Biography
He took his medical degree at the National University of Athens. He specialized in Internal Medicine at the First Propaedeutics University Clinic. He specialized in diabetes and hypertension in the First Propaedeutics University Clinic. In 1995 he participated in a seminar of the National Center for Research, Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes Mellitus and its Complications of total duration 350 hours with the title: “Linking Diabetes Centres, and Education, of Physicians, Nurses and Health Visitors’ Since 2000 he participates annually as a lecturer – coordinator or organizer in hypertension annual seminars of Greek Society of Hypertension. He has participated as guest speaker – coordinator at more than 100 conferences in Greece and abroad. He has served as a scientific consultant for several multinational and Greek pharmaceutical companies. Honors & Awards 1981: Merit Award from the Cultural Roumelioton Center honoring the service of the letters 1981: Praise and prize from Municipality of Lamia as being first during national exams 1982: Prize in the National Competition in Mathematics organized in 1979-1980 by the Hellenic Mathematical Society
